Josh Allen got into a fight with 341-pound D-lineman at Bills practice

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen got into a confrontation with defensive lineman Jordan Phillips at training camp practice on July 30.

NFL training camps have begun this past week. Even though teams have held a couple of practices, there have been fights and confrontations. On July 30, there was an incident involving Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

On a red zone play, Allen ran up the middle and into the end zone. But during the play, Allen was bumped into by defensive lineman Jordan Phillips. The quarterback was not pleased with the incident, as he shoved Phillips. The two then went face-to-face, leading to their teammates pulling them apart.

Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, who was at Bills training camp, said that the defensive lineman were “buzzing around the Bills quarterbacks during practice.”

The Bills have high expectations heading into the start of the season. They appeared to be on the verge of making it to the AFC Championship Game after an epic performance by Allen in the AFC Divisional Round against the Kansas City Chiefs. Instead, the Chiefs forced overtime in the final seconds of regulation and eventually won.

Last season, Allen threw for 4,407 yards, 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions while completing 63.3-percent of his passes.

Buffalo made their intentions known that they were looking to put themselves over the top for the 2022 season when they signed former Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams linebacker Von Miller.

Fights always happen in training camp, but it is getting a ton of attention since this one involved the starting quarterback.
