Manny Pacquiao’s coach throws unbelievable shade at Conor McGregor, Floyd Mayweather

Before Manny Pacquiao steps back into the ring, his coach is throwing haymakers at Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

As Manny Pacquiao prepares for a fight against Yordenis Ugas, his coach is duking out battles of his own outside of the ring. No, not the coach that we’ve all come to love over the years from hearing about his story every time Manny is about to fight. That’s Freddie Roach; Justin Fortune is the coach in Manny’s corner throwing barbs at potential future opponents

Fortune took shots at both UFC champion Conor McGregor and Manny Pacquiao nemesis Floyd Mayweather. One he named outright, the other he danced around either unintentionally or in a masterful troll to truly stoke coals for a future fight.

In a series of absolutely scathing quotes,  Fortune roasted McGregor as not being in the same universe as Pacquiao let alone someone who should be allowed to step foot in the ring.

“It would have gone two rounds against McGregor – one round to warm up and one round to finish the guy.

“Or we could have warmed up properly in the changing rooms and it would have gone one round.

“McGregor is not a boxer. It’s not his sport. Manny Pacquiao not an MMA guy, it’s not his sport.

“Put Manny against McGregor in MMA and McGregor destroys Manny. Manny against McGregor in boxing – Manny destroys him.

“It’s unfair to match them like that. Conor’s record is 1-5 in his last six fights. Why fight McGregor, McGregor does not deserve to fight Manny, why give McGregor the payday?

“What gives him the right to fight Manny? McGregor has loss after loss after loss.”

While he doesn’t mention Mayweather by name, the substance of the quotes is a not-so-subtle shot at Floyd as well. McGregor and Mayweather stepped into the ring with one another a few years ago, in a bout that was about as anticlimactic as it gets.

It doesn’t take Jacques Clouseau to draw a line between Pacquiao’s coach saying that Conor would get destroyed when the exact opposite of that happened in the fight against Mayweather.
