UFC Vegas 19: Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis betting odds

Betting odds for UFC Vegas 19: Curtis Blaydes vs. Derrick Lewis.

The main event is a go for UFC Vegas 19 as both Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis weighed in under the non-title heavyweight limit of 266 pounds.

Both fighters are looking to inch themselves closer to a title shot with a dominant performance here, although with Jon Jones likely fighting the winner of Miocic vs. Ngannou II, they might have to remain in the queue for a while. Blaydes is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Alexander Volkov in June and has won four in a row since his second loss to Ngannou in 2018. Lewis has strung together a few wins in a row as well, most recently defeating Aleksei Oleinik via second-round TKO. Lewis also holds the record for most knockouts in UFC heavyweight history with 11.

While not usually the norm, the biggest betting favorite at UFC Vegas 19 will be a headliner in Blaydes. Blaydes is currently sitting at a whopping -450, with the other half of the main event in Lewis comes back at +325. The line for Blaydes to win via KO, TKO or DQ is now at -134, with the over/under sitting at 1.5 rounds.

For those unfamiliar with betting odds, they are easiest understood by assuming each bet is $100. For example, if a bettor chooses Blaydes at -450, that means a $450 bet would return $100 if he wins. On the flip side, if one were to bet Lewis at +325, a $100 bet would be needed in order to win $325 should Lewis come away victorious.
